Mark Rosenquist Work Out Log

My first shot at a blog, so here goes.

For yesterday's pull up WOD, I did 18 rounds plus 14 pull ups. This was a PR for me. Total pull-ups were 185, 4 more than my PR. I got 15 rounds without a break. A PR by one round. I am not sure about breaking up the rounds earlier in order to increase the number.

I am off to Korea on Tuesday, so I will see what I can do at the hotel gym with a ton of jet lag.

Today was a double under work out on the main page. My knee is still hurting, so i did a Santa Cruz workout.

40 power cleans 75 lbs
20 L-Pull Ups
60 push presses 75 lbs
20 L-Pull Ups
40 power cleans 75 lbs

Did it in 21:12. Felt OK.

I read the Journal and the article about improving oly lifts. After the CrossFit warm up, did the Buergner Warm Up, 3 set of 3 of O/H Squats, Press snatch Balance, Heaving Snatch Balance and Snatch balance. Started with just the bar and increased when I could. OHS was 45, 65, 75. Press was 45, 45, 55. Heaving was 45, 55, 55. Snatch balance was 65, 65, 65.
