Hmmm....Conjugated Linoleic Acid. I believe Robb touched on this in the supplementation issue of the PM. CLA is present in grass-fed meats.

CLA is much more prevalent in grass-fed dairy than grain-fed. I personally get mine from grass-fed meats and X Factor Gold Butter Oil.

The stuff made from safflower oil (all of the stuff sold in supplement form) is next to worthless. It's not chemically the same, it's a different isomeric mix.

Big Pharma won't start producing it until a patent can be had. Wait, you mean ruminants still hold the patent on making the real stuff? Sheesh.

The day dairy itself (and not isolated compounds within it) is proven good for diabetes (in true Black Box fashion) will be the day that America's dairy-loving butts aren't massively enlarged. Not happening anytime soon, by my count.
