Sportime Super-Safe Softball, 4"

Sportime Super-Safe Softball, 4" on Amazon.com

I just wanted to give a quick review to this item. One of the areas I have not been able to mobilize very well with a lacrosse ball are the psoas. I've seen MobWOD and other videos where the speaker has recommended large, inflatable balls for mobilizing these areas. Most places I was looking online was selling balls like that for $20 or more, and I didn't want to pay that much if I didn't need to.

On Amazon I found this rubber inflatable ball for about $5. For me it has worked great and held up fine to my 225 lbs so far. Judging by the reviews on Amazon, I'm sure this ball can mobilize other areas as well, but I haven't tried. Also, while I used the 4 inch size, the same company sells a 6 inch size as well.

Re: Sportime Super-Safe Softball, 4"

I've been wanting to get a ball like this to hammer my psoas ever since I saw that video. So based on this recommendation I just purchased this ball. Worst case scenario I will just send it back.

Thanks for the tip. I'll post an update when I get it.

I ended up returning it, I think it was a little small so I ordered the 6" version.
