Just read something on InterMat about FILA changing the uniforms to Rash Guards and Board Shorts some time in the near future. Gotta say I'm surprised... and not really happy about it.

It's to make the sport not as "g a y." Kids want stuff as close to MMA as they can get. I'm still a fan of hocking singlet leggings up as high as they can go. A lot of people hesitate to shoot on striated quads.

I wrestled kids in the off-season in a t-shirt and shorts who either forgot their singlet or just didn't want to wear one. Didn't really bother me. If it brings more kids to the sport, I'm all for it. I'll stick to singlets.

Good points. I liked mine pretty high on the thigh as well. I'm not a fan but if it really will bring more people to the sport (...I don't know if it will help...) then I'm for it.

112 lbs at state my junior year...old school singlet. The new ones have too much crap all over them.
