did all 21 dl without rest but went down hill from there. i didn't let my friend pukey in but he was definitely banging on the door. form was pretty bad on the deadlifts. pretty much turned into straight legged dead lifts. shins took a nice beating also. but very good workout.

Re: new workouts

here' a nice little workout we did today. we needed a EASY day so this fit the bill.

10 95lb push presses
20 situps
10 rnds

13:11

got the heart rate going without the nausea (sp?) feeling.
should have done it as max rounds in 20 min but wasn't sure how long it was going to take.

Re: new workouts

Here's something I did, modifying today's WOD. I don't have a barbell for proper cleans, and HSPUs against a wall are a no-no when the neighbors complain about your tv being on (not too loud, just on) past ten. Still, I think it was pretty hard.

5 Rounds for Time:
15 2-handed kettlebell cleans (2 35# for me)
7 1-arm push-ups, each arm.

Re: new workouts

A few of the favourites at my affiliate are:

Thrusters @95
SDHP @95
Full Cleans @95
10,9,8 ... 1
Works well in a group setting because all you need is one barbell.

AMRAP in 20min
5 Deadlifts @225
10 Pushpress @95
Kind of a Diane variation.

AMRAP in 20min
5 back squats @bodyweight
20 air squats

Re: new workouts

I like going to my nearby Big Ten football stadium and doing something like this:

5 rounds for time:
Run up the bleachers, walk down
25 GHD-style situps (using bleachers)
25 back extensions
25 decline pushups

I also like to do mixed ME workouts, especially olympic totals (snatch + C&J, Clean and Shoulder Press for old schoolers). I always wonder why we do so many crossfit totals, but never an olympic total.
