Conditioning programming

I'm on a strength program but I want to add conditioning on my light days. Can anyone point me in the direction of some basic conditioning programming like sprints, row sprints, distance running, etc...I don't know. Appreciate any information I can get, thanks.

Re: Conditioning programming

Hill sprints, prowler or rower interval work.

Re: Conditioning programming

Some of the "Girl" wods are great conditioning. Fran, Helen, Grace, Nancy, and Cindy come to mind.

Re: Conditioning programming

Outlaw CrossFit posts a conditioning workout every day. I just add it after my strength work. Great variance in it.

Re: Conditioning programming

Why don't you try following the main site WODs?

They will train both strength and conditioning if done at the proper intensity and will get you in better shape than medium intensity but longer "traditional cardio" training. I probably maintain 85-90% of my cardio fitness doing CrossFit only compared to when I ran 40 miles a week, and when I biked 12+ hours a week, with lots of interval training in those two disciplines.
