Knee Sleeves

Hey, I was wondering if anyone hear uses knee sleeves on a regular basis when doing leg intensive workouts. If so have you noticed a difference at all? What brand did you use?

This one stood out at me as a good purchase but I don't know for sure. Any ideas.

At the games I noticed a few crossfitters wearing them (notably Ben Smith) but I couldn't get a read on what brands they were using, any help would be appreciated.

Re: Knee Sleeves

Rehband are probably the most popular in both power lifting (for federation that don't allow wraps) and Olympic lifting. Order from a site that has the correct sizing information. You take a measurement to get the correct size. Sold in cm.

Hard to tell from the picture on the link you posted but you want 5mm or 7mm neoprene.

Re: Knee Sleeves

I have a pair of Tommy Kono sleeves that I love for squatting. Haven't used them for anything else yet.

Re: Knee Sleeves

I use the TK's for squatting but not for metcons. I feel like they help keep them warm in between sets which wouldn't really be an issue during metcons.

Re: Knee Sleeves

Kono's knee sleeves are ok but less durable, i tore through mine pretty quick, also your knees sweat a lot in Kono's.

Re: Knee Sleeves

I also use the TK knee bands for squatting, deadlifts and cleans, but not really for metcons. Really like them for the lifts, though, especially since finishing knee rehab for a torn ACL. Keeps everything together nicely

Re: Knee Sleeves

Rehband, Jackals Gym is the best supplier in the US in my opinion.
