Through BeastSkills.com (Safe.), I found a list of videos for the Men's Health "How Fit Are You?" competition. Well, I came to a video named "Brutal Workout," and I was surprised!
He completed it in about 3:30, though lacking good form. (Still better than I could do!) http://www.menshealth.com/cda/featur...&channel=video Click the "How Fit Are You?" tab on the video player. I didn't explore the site at all, but that much is family/work safe. |

Personally, I would go for a better Vodka. Oh wrong tab, sorry.

...and...if he's trying to do thrusters, he's bending his knees and hips before he returns the bar to the rack position.
i could keep going...but not bad, a 4 minute fran. |

Not one of those "Thrusters" would count in Santa Cruz. He needs to work on his form with a dowel, then an empty bar before he puts any weight on. Back rounded at the bottom, rolled forward at bottom, knees track inward on the way up,.......

The injuries will come fast and furious with the form he's using in that workout.
Maybe it's just me, but the pullups with their bent elbows at the bottom AND never getting his chin above the bar are equal in (poor) form to those thrusters... |

The chins looked okay, maybe a few short ... but the thrusters definitely need some work. Still a decent time!!

I like the Turkish Get up with 140, though it would have been much cooler with a 7 foot bar, not that ez curler...

regarding the turkish get-I thought a full rep was from the ground, to standing then back down to the ground again?

Anthony,
I'm a stickler on the chins, if he actually even touched the bar with his chin on some (with a ton of neck stretch), I'd be surprised. I think there is a lot to be gained from the last inches of a well-done pullup that many miss out on solely for "points". |
