Saying "thank you" doesn't seem to be enough, but
considering the fact that our troops never hear it often enough.; I'll say it again:
Thank you for serving our nation, thank you for your courage, thank you for your sacrifices, thank you for taking time away from your own families to protect ours, thank you for making America possible.
I hope you find some encouragement in this and at these links (work & family safe)
Special Ops Memorial

Patriotic Art

These are only a couple, but I know there are more.
Please continue this link with as many different memorial websites, etc. as possible.
If any of you live near a Veterans hospital, just go there and walk through it slowly, and talk to some of the people who are there.

Thank you, Frank, from one veteran to another! I think you said you were with the 82nd Airborne.

The brass bell rang 37 times yesterday at Ft. Bragg, one toll for each of the Army Special Operations soldiers who lost their lives during the past year. Their names were added to the memorial wall.

God bless all of our warriors.

"We sleep safely in our beds because rough men stand ready in the night to visit violence on those who would do us harm." -George Orwell.

The amazing blessing that is our country would not be possible but for the men and women in uniform. I am frequently struck by the quality of life we enjoy; the freedom and prosperity. I am humbled by those who run the most powerful war machine ever created yet submit quietly and proudly to the rule of law. Thank you to all those who have given their life to defend our country and who put themselves in mortal danger now. God bless.

Skip, we were right down the road from the 82nd with the 27th Eng Bn (CBT)(ABN) in the Smoke Bomb Hill area. Got our orders from XVIII Airborne Corps. I respect all our Airborne brothers!
