Powerlifter surprised me. I thought the weightlifter would sneak it at the end though.

Just one more lousy rep. And if you watch him, it looks like he had time to do one more the way the coutner/clock is going.

That's great. Probably would have bet on the wieghtlifter. Although you gotta figure the powerlifter spends about 33% of his time doing that movement (squat) so he probably has the advantage in this. It also makes sense to me the bodybuilder was 4th as they train for looks over function. Stongman was a wildcard.

I expected more from the strong man though he was the heaviest.

powerlifter never comes all the way up except for the reps where he re-racks.

Re: "Who is the sickest squatter"

It was interesting but the fact that you have a weightlifter that weighs 70kg and the other guys are 100 and 120 makes a HUGE difference.

For me to squat 77/80kg would be nothing compared to trying to squat 100+. 100 isn't that heavy but in reps it gets rough.

In terms of workload, roughly:

PLer: 73r@97.5 = 7117.5
SMer: 60r@just under 120 = 7200
WLer: 73r@69 = 5037
BBer: 50r@102+ = 5100

So the StrongMan competitor actually wins in workload and he also has more extra weight on his frame. Somewhere between 5-10% more BF on him. The Weightlifters reps are legit as are the SM guy with the BBer having the worst form. I would say the PLer and BBer probably have the worse form because of tight hips more than anything.

If you think about it, SM requires the ability to do a crapton of heavy work. That PLer is probably following something close to Sheiko which is a lot of volume of 3-4, maybe 5 days of lifting a week much different than WSBB Conjugate systems. That bodybuilder probably does lower body 1-2x/week.

Kind of surprised the weightlifter didn't do much more work.

A small CFer would probably dominate this like Spealler and even the mid size guys like Froning would crush it. Even Khalipa probably.

We did something like this at our gym last year. Horrible idea. I was sore for a week and a half.

I vaguely remember that Jim.

We need to find/sucker a cf/wl gal about 58kg to try.

Ager.
