Breakfast
Please help me. I hate eggs. I have tried to eat them and gag to the point of throwing up everytime i do. I have tried them over easy, scrambled, fried, in an omlet, in a taco, with steak, covered in hot sauce, with salt and pepper, boiled, etc.
Are shakes that hit a proper calorie / protein / etc. level ok for breakfast? protein powder, fruit, little milk... maybe a side of bacon. thanks for the help. |

Why not eat "real" food for breakfast instead of shakes: chicken, steak, fish, pork chops or just about anything else. Don't have to limit yourself to just "breakfast" foods for breakfast.

I'm a fan of cold bloody steak and a mixture of walnuts and berries....or an apple. But I'm a little weird.

i have thought about eating other than breakfast foods for breakfast, just have not done it. i'll prob do a mix of shakes, fruit and other lunch / dinner foods for different days.

I start off my breakfast with a small melon, stimulates elimination of urine and a bowel movement to start the day off nice and fresh.
I typically have a significant amount of calories to start the day off. For instance today I had a big blended smoothie of 7 bananas, 4 oranges, some strawberries, a pinch of flax seeds and a couple almonds. Feelin' ready to take on the world! ![]() |

To the OP - shakes are fine if you cannot stomach the eggs. I am pretty busy in the AM getting ready for work and with kids - sometimes I make time to cook some eggs and bacon - sometimes I whip up a nice shake.
Do you like Ham? That with some good clean carbs make for a good breakfast. |
