Gloves are for gardening t-shirts now Available!!!

Hey everyone I was at the CrossFit Games this year wearing a shirt that reads on the front "Gloves are for gardening...", and the back, "...and they're f#*!ing g*y!"

So many people stopped me and asked me where I got it, it was the only one of its kind until now.

We have finally had them printed and they are now available at:

The front is funny.

The back is unnecessary.

Point of view I guess. I think it's kind of funny.

This is like saying jokes about lynching black people are funny, and if you don't think so, that's just your point of view. No, it's not.

I'm with Luke.

BTW, I am a big fan of Sarah Silverman, Carlos Mencia, and other comedians who make jokes about race (and other things). The difference is that in their comedy, they make clear that the humor comes not from putting down black people or Latinos, but from our tendency to be uptight about stereotypes. They also poke fun at our own sense of shame as stereotypes run through our minds (say, if you're a small white woman and three big black guys get on the elevator with you late at night).

It's hard to get that from the back of this shirt. What comes through--whether the creator meant it this way or not--is simply homophobia. There's no sense of self-ridicule on that shirt, only disparagement of others.

Now there's a blind jump in logic.

Front is funny, back is horrible IMO. I am guessing that there are at least a few people who are *** that CF... It's a slang term that disrespects a group of people.

I wear gloves when I garden and mow. I am horribly allergic to poison ivy , oak, sumac, bug bites... I also wear long socks, long shirts, and sweatpants. I hope a shirt doesn't get printed about what I wear when I mow all because I am different.
