Watching LSU play, it looks like our offense might finally be getting their act together. There are still some o-line issues. Our defense, especially our secondary, impressed me. If we can just keep this momentum going through the Florida game.... well, I don't want to think too far ahead...

LSU does have a better than average chance against Florida though. Tebow will probably not play, no matter what Urban says. If by some slim chance he does play, I would think he would be extremely conservative. For his sake, I really hope they don't play him.

Why do you think Tebow wont play? Not saying you are wrong but I havent really seen anything that is definitive one way or the other. I will agree with you that LSU has a decent chance against Florida.

I do have to give a shout out to my Navy Midshipman, they beat Air Force in a squeaker and are on the way to a 7th consecutive Commander-in-Chief's Trophy. Go Navy, Beat Army!

Florida's offense did just enough to win but they did end up turning the ball over a few times and squandering opportunities.

However the defense looked absurd. I almost felt like Tim Tebow could walk backwards to his own goal line, hand the ball to the opposing defense and say "Here it's yours now. Your offense has 4 downs to get it in from the half yard line." And I think LSU would've been stuffed everytime.

sorts like Texas has an epic defense. Texas held ou (sucks) to -16 yards rushing. that is sweet.

our offense looked awful. Greg Davis can't call a game to save his life. I still can't figure out why he is still around.

not too surprised the rankings didnt change, Alabama got lucky, Florida looked a little shaky in the beginning for the second week in a row, but did what they do and took control later...

If Texas can lay the smack-down on Okie Lite this weekend and Florida and Alabama have less than stellar performances then we MIGHT see the polls move Texas into that #2 spot. Otherwise, we'll have to wait until the SEC Championship game.

I was really glad to see Texas put it all together during the Missouri game. They really hadn't show their teeth much this year, and they'll need those teeth for the BCS championship game. This assuming that some stupid writer doesn't go and vote for Iowa to take that current #3 spot from them and they don't get to go to the BCS Title game.

Iowa is horribly overrated at #4.
