Re: Danielle's Dungeon

Yeah, I still haven't tried that workout. Too busy doing the real thing and too much of the real thing to work in pullups. Nice to have a home gym though, ain't it? The excuses aren't as easy to come by.

Yes, I was certainly being euphemistic!

Agreed! It also forces you to become very creative. My 24" barrier was an upright 60# DB with a laundry soap box on top of it!

Garage Gym is awesome for so, so many reasons!

Love it!

I'm totally envious of your home gym, Danielle.

The virtual shoveling was interesting to say the least. I had an audience of two watching while I did mine and felt like a doofus.

Good work on the shoveling, How is the back today? I'm a little tight myself.

Thanks, Vanessa - I was hoping someone would appreciate that!

The right side of my back along the spine is a little tender, but c'est la vie! Now to do today's WOD...

Re: Danielle's Dungeon

WOD: Power Cleans & Dips
155# Power Clean, 15 rep
30 ring dips
155# PC, 12 rep
24 ring dips
155# PC, 9 rep
18 ring dips
155# PC, 6 rep
12 ring dips
155# PC, 3 rep
6 ring dips

Subbed 155 for barbell only and instead of ring dips, I did straight-arm holds on the rings. 1 ring dip rep = 1 ring straight-arm hold. Those were definitely broken up!!

Re: Danielle's Dungeon

Okay... so after a long time of no CF, I'm planning on making a comeback! There is a CF affiliate right down the street from me (CrossFit 9), and I will soon have the money to go! I'm currently training for a half marathon (completed 11 miles on Monday), so it will probably be a slow start, but I'm stoked!!!

Hey Danielle, how come you've had soo long off?

I did a half marathon a couple of years back, I trained mainly CF and the most I ran before game day was 9 mile. I still managed to do ok finishing in 1.46 and I think I weighed in around 90k back then.
