They do look good. But since I was unsure of the fit and how they would be, I bought a pair on Zappos that were on sale for $52. That pair is in new york mets colors (white, black, orange) and as a Yankee fan, I don't like the color scheme so much lol. Next pair will be nicer.

How are the Minimus working for you?
I've been rocking the New Balance MX20's for a month or so now. Great shoes for CF.

Still breaking them in, but I love them. Best shoes I've worn.

Better than the Inov-8s? I'm really curious. I want to give these shoes a try.

They feel significantly more minimal than inov 8s, and are the closest to VFFs in terms of feel for me, but I have yet to try the vivo barefoot or the merrels.

If you can find somewhere to try them out, give them a go and you will not look back. There's a reason Rob Orlando just got 3 pairs of them from ShoeMart

Haha, truth about Rob. I really like my 195s but want to give the Minimus a try. What model did you get? There's so many different one's: mx20, mt20, etc...

Re: Inov 8 question

I got the Trails MT10 in red, they don't sell teh MX20s here in the UK, which I find odd for a UK based company

Did I say how much I like them?

Gonna have to say thank you on your recommendation... I just picked up the MX20s... they are amazing. Thanks, brother.

They all sucked.

Inov8s Cons: Way narrow, uncomfortable, hard cheap feeling sole.
Pros: the 230s are pretty good looking shoes.

NB Minimus Cons: insanely narrow at the laces. I literally couldnt wear a size 12 and i usually wear a 11.
Pros: They were comfortable otherwise, i wish i could have fit these.

Merrell Cons: Really strange uncomfortable sole. The hard plate under the forefoot makes it hard to get a good feel for the ground which eliminates the barefoot sensation. They are ugly.

All in all i was very disappointed. I still like my vibrams for trail runs but i was hoping to find a great new minimal shoe for the gym. Guess i will keep looking.
same here. guess i got some unusual feet :P
i wanted the NB Minimus so bad, but they're too narrow.
VFFs are the only shoes that feel comfortable for me.
i'll try out the vivo barefoot evo II + neo as soon as they're available at my local store.
any thoughts on the evo II or the neo from people who tested them?

So true. Vibram is italian but they offer new shoes in the usa before europe. Same with adidas, german company and you cant buy the adipure trainers in germany, but they are available in america
