I recently saw a Jackie Chan movie on DVD and he appeared to be doing Parkour styled moves.

Is he a traceur?

Chan was originally trained at the Peking Opera School - which had a strong emphasis on acrobatics. In addition, there are a lot of wushu people involved in parkour these days. Both of those things might explain some similarities that you saw.

Jackie Chan is a Parkour master without even knowing it. He is one of the reasons I get fed up with the European stance that they somehow "invented"'s obvious that it wasn't exactly a unique creation ;)
