Question Staying with competetion plates or switching?

Hey everyone,

I bought a pair of 25lb, 35lb and 45lb Rogue Competition Bumper Plates from their closeoutsale in europe (i'm from Denmark).

As I received the products, I found out that one of the 25 lb plates, the center metal part can turn 360 degrees, which it is not meant to do.

So I talked to Rogue, and now I have 2 options.

1. Keeping the the pair of 25lb plates

2. Exchanging them for a pair of normal Rogue 10 KG Bumper Plates, and for 20 Euros more, a pair of 5 KG's.

What should I do? Keep the competition plates, or exchange for new ones, though are not competition plates?

Keep it. The spinning sucks but doesn't affect function. Ask them for a discount or a free tshirt.

I'd go for the 10kg and 5kg plates. If the metal insert is spinning, it seems like only a matter of time before it pops out. Then it won't be useful at all.

Are you sure it could pop out?
We're talking these bumper plates (front one, 25 lb, green)

Ours spin sometimes. Have you tried tightening the bolts? We have to do that on some of ours every few months.

and yes, the comp plates are much better!
