Re: Sharknado

Sounds like a good weekend for you Blair. Wish there were more events like that here.

Lab Gym is having a weightlifting meet in the beginning of November, considering doing that one, but definitely not going to have many big names like you can out in Cali.

That one got me too. Tried to stay out, but had to say something when he started talking about why he thought he couldn't convince administration. Realism is important sometimes.

Re: Sharknado

It was pretty badass. I lamented losing my rest day and when the alarm went off at 5@m I didnt get going till around 6.

Definitely psyched for lifting this week. I really wanted to try the yoke at 335 but only got to move one at 255.

However my body was crushed in the morning. I did quite a bit of db work as an accessory work besides super simple bw stuff.

I think maybe my next day of conditioning will involve racking my max bs between two racks and walking.

Oh yeah, there was a lounge room with couches televising football and beer for sale besides the mexican catered truck.

Progenex was there and my shirt has them on it on my FB. I forgot to check out to see if they had salmon powder.

Re: Sharknado

Saw that pic - sellout!

I didn't get any rest day either - had weekend duty at work so alarm went off at 5:20 like usual weekdays. Actually 5:40 on Saturday, gave myself an extra 20 after being out late Fri night. Not that it helped.
