V Max Vest

I'm thinking of getting a weight vest was looking at the 75 lb. Short Weight vest. Anybody have one of these or anyone similar? Do you like it or not? Gonna be using it for WOD's and for running.

Re: V Max Vest

I like the short V-maxx Box vest. Worth every penny and was a great replacement for the 60-pound V-maxx plate-loaded vest that I'm now looking to sell for a very reasonable price.

Re: V Max Vest

I have the MiR short air flow vest, 40lb (but fully loaded its about 44-45). It's a great vest.

Short vest is a must IMO, longer ones bounce around way too much.
75lbs is a lot of extra weight (and expensive). I rarely load mine up past 25lbs unless I'm doing weighted pullups, ring dips, muscle ups, HSPU, etc.
For most WOD's, even an extra 10-20 lbs makes it suck a whole lot more.

The Rogue Box vest is awsome. It's short, doesn't interfere with shoulder movement, stays secure, nice shoulder padding. Fully loaded, it's 45lbs. I'm sure you could come up with a way to add some weight to it though.

Jay-
does that vest have the small metal plates for weight or the tubes filled with sand/shot?

Re: V Max Vest

I think I may buy the MIR vest. Looks solid and looking at what I was originally going for 75 lbs. is a lot of extra weight... probably a littler overkill.
