Just started CF workouts a week ago, big thanks to Shouf for introducing to me. The same old weight lifting routine week after week was getting exetremely old. After a just a few CF workouts i'm hooked.

Friday Jan. 4th
The Bear Complex from CF LA
teamed up with coach shouf

5 rounds of:
7 cycles

1 power clean,1 front squat, 1 push press, 1 overhead squat, 1 back squat, 1 push press

Sunday Jan. 6th
12 Days of CrossFit

1 burpee pull-up
2 turkish get ups
3 knees to elbows
4 wall ball shots
5 KB swings
6 box jumps
7 push presses
8 cleans
9 double unders
10 jumping lunges
11 standard push ups
12 high pulls
this one was fun, thought I wasnt going to make it.

Tuesday Jan 8th
Helen

did this one in a cool, light rain, good stuff

3 rounds of:
run 400m
21 KB swings
12 pull ups

had a hard time with the final pull ups, got 9 before I hit a wall.
time: 11 minutes

Wednesday Jan 9th
Michael

used a fitness ball for the back extensions.
time: 22:38

Thursday Jan 10th

Defensive sldes/line sprints
double unders
full court layups

Sunday Jan 13

Reps of 10, 9, 8..... 2, 1 for time:
Overhead squats
push press
dips

10, 9, and 8 - 65 #
7 to 1 - 55 #

15 min.

About 20 min of basketball shooting drills with Shoufdaddy

20 mins - max sets:

5 reps - 105 # bench press (should probably add 10# to his next time)
5 pull ups
5 double unders

17 rounds

Thursday Jan 17

first CF workout done by myself. I threw on the headphones, put on alittle Astro-Creep: 2000 (thanks clay) and went to work.

Scaled down Barbara:

5 rounds:
10 pull ups (which quickly became chin ups)
25 push ups
30 squats - 95#
40 sit ups w/ ball

took about 20 minutes
definitely feeling those squats

Twenty-one from CF oneworld

20 pushups - 1 sit up
19 - 2
18 - 3
so on and so forth
completed in 22 minutes

swam 10 laps

Wednesday Jan 23

gave upper body a much needed break
ran 2 miles
100 sit-ups
100 oblique crunched (each side)

Thursday Jan 23

Tabata
squats
push-ups
double-unders
sit-ups

Friday Jan 24

From CrossFitNC

10 reps 135 # DL, 9 reps, 8..
12 dips
7 reps 135# DL, 6, 5..
12 push-ups
4 reps 135# DL 3, 2..
12 pull-ups
1 DL 135#
36 knees-to-elbows

followed by-

15 rounds:
10 double-unders
10 push-ups
10 sit-ups

ran 1 mile
