Pendlay Econ or Troy VTX Bumper Plates?

Hello All,
I am brand new to CrossFit and am looking to equip a home gym. I have an affiliate that I go to but would like to have suffecient equipment in the garage for those days when I can't make it in.So far I have purchased a set of rings and a Stud Bar.
I have been researching bumper plates and it seems that the two that fit my budget are the Plendlay Econ V2's and the Troy VTX bumper sets. I will be using them in my garage on the concrete until I get matts.
Does anyone have experience with either of these brands or any reccomendations or advice? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I really like the rubber they use. Durable with minimal bounce. And the steel inserts are rock solid. Just sliding a plate on the bar, you can feel the difference. Also, their plates are a little thinner, so you can fit more weight on the bar. If you're considering getting any 10's or 15's they are way more solid than any other bumper I've seen or used.

Get the colored ones if you can. Its not that much more for a set, and is easier to figure out on whats on the bar(reds 45, blues 35, yellow 25, black 15, green 10). In addition, you get kilogram values besides the pound values on each plate.

A friend of mine owns a box where they use the VTX bumpers; you won't be disappointed, though I personally prefer the made-in-the-U.S.A. bounce of Hi-Temp.

I have considered the Hi Temp bumpers because I have been using them at my box but they are out of my budget and bounce real high. I could just see myself tearing up my garage...lol.. Would absolutely prefer to purchase U.S made goods and do so when practical

Troy VTX is what I use at my house. I have used the Rogue Hi-Temps at the Box I used to belong to. They are both great.
