Re: Sharknado
NICE!
I am really looking forward to them. I like the look of there, seems solid and I got to look at a friends(feet to small for me to try them) and I liked the solid feel. I don't like the ''look'' of alot of the newer shoes out there. |

Re: Sharknado
Just googled it myself and as I suspected there are a few in Sacramento. Not a trip I would be making daily. Sacramento is about 20 minutes from my house but more like 35 minutes from my work. I'm happy with my gym anyway, but I wouldn't mind dropping in on a Saturday for a few olympic lifting lessons or something. Do they do that kind on your team?

Re: Sharknado
I'm still pretty smelly at bench (stupid long arms), but I still try to get it in once a week. Seems to be working, I was 170 max a couple months into CF, 190 half a year in, got 230 about a month ago.

this is the way they do bench for athletes that are paralyzed or have similar or serious lower body disability. the can't use their legs to anchor themselves or balance on the floor so this gives them a solid platform and ensures they don't roll off the bench. some that are amputees actually have the straps over their belly. |

Re: Sharknado
Long arms and weak bench press sufferer here too. Although lately I have been improving. I can knock out a set of 185x5 and my 1RM is 225
