Re: Sharknado

well this will be short for now... i will get back on here tomorrow or something... swamped and nothing going right at the moment... last night went outside to workout and my stupid barbell broke. no where around here to buy one. drove an hour (one way) to the closest sporting good store last night but they wouldn't sell me just a bar and i don't need more weights plus i have bars at home. so, no heavy lifting for me until i get home. will just do lots of other stuff. might be fun, or at least i will make the most of it. no other news to report.

nice work on the PR's.

will catch up with everyone later.

I would just like to say that 295x6 back squats is a little out of my reach right now...

Just not what I (or most of us I would think) would consider real strength work.

Re: Sharknado

Indeed, Andrew. Even as random as my lifting appears, I try and follow something resembling a goal for the day. I.e. x number of reps at a certain % or certain volume level.

that's not terrible way to warm up for strength work. so, what did he do for strength work?

In terms of reps/sets at percentages, absolutely not. Also he told a guy on digital coaching not to go too low because "you only have to hit parallel" so I would possibly question his depth.

Those other two routines you quoted are just skill work at most...
