315 Clean PR!!

315 Clean Video (wfs)

Barely got up with it.....10# PR

Was using straps all day because the snatching all day the day before on new bars left my hands too sore to put on the bar.
Never a limiting factor in my oly lifts though.

Well done. Good quickness. Keep up the great work.

Been there on the sore hands. I can't for the life of me wear straps when I clean though. Puts my elbows in the wrong position and I have to instinctively let go of the bar when I recieve it and let it set on my fingertips - not so with straps.

Do not wear straps for the clean. I guarantee you do not want to risk breaking your wrists in case you lose your balance backwards.

And you're killing it in the open, I see. We'll be keeping an eye on how you do at regionals!

I've seen this before. You're absolutely right. I don't think I've ever lost a clean that way, it's always in front. But thanks for the concern. Not something I do normally.

Thanks man! I didn't have a good go at 12.2 so I had to have another go. Said I wouldn't do any again but I find I'm taking them so casually that I'm leaving reps out there.....
Went from 78 to 83 on that one. Much better.
