Update - 15 month progress pictures

Hello everyone!

For those of you not familiar, I have been posting my progress pictures to this thread for about a year. My last update was after 8 months (w/f/s)

This evening I am pleased to be posting my CrossFit progress pictures after 15 months of CrossFit. (w/f/s - woman in a bikini)

These pictures are meant to serve as a road map for the CrossFitters at my affiliation, as well as other CrossFitters. I think it is important to know how quickly you can expect to see results. For all the ladies out there, I think these pictures are 100% PROOF that lifting weights will not turn you into the pink Hulk.

My results aren't as amazing over the last 5 months as I would have hoped, but I know this is the result of eating too much of my Mom's cooking over the holidays. Plus, once you start getting closer and closer to your ideal weight, the results are slow; you gotta fight for every 1% of body fat!

Thank you to my Fiance Bill who has been my rock and my teacher. Without him, I would never have found CrossFit. Thank you to all the strong women who inspire me. Thank you to the CrossFit community for being so amazing and supportive!

Jennie

Jennie what amazing results. This is the perfect example for women out there afraid that they will turn into said pink Hulk. I only hope that my 15 month progress report will be as outstanding. I am a guy but would like to be leaner as I have always been husky, well at least since I was about six, anyways I digress. Great job and keep up the hard work. The results speak for themselves.

That's fantastic, Jennie. What about your lifts and ladies?

Also, not really the point, but: Did you go out and buy the same swimsuit in a smaller size, or is it really possible for a size 3/4 woman to wear a size 12 swimsuit and have it look so normal?

Re: Update - 15 month progress pictures

Thanks for all the kind words!
Yes, it's the same bathing suit. It was from a skinnier time, so I think it's a size 8. (note how poorly it fit in the 1st pics)

My deadlift is about 85kg SRM, press is 40kg SRM.
My Jackie time improved to 10:16, and I can do Angie as rx'd. (can't remember my time)

I'm stronger and fitter than I have ever been, and I love it!
