Saw it. Loved it. I knew of most of the story beforehand, but it was nice to see that the bad guy of the story really was a jerk and that the good guy was very similar to my high school physics teacher.

They did a special on what happened after the movie, and the bad guy (it's been a while since I saw it, so I forget the names) managed to become even more of an ***.

Where did you see that special?

I loved it too, it was really well done. It was so strange and at the same time so brilliant. Great little documentary, I hope "Every Second Counts" will be that good.

His name was Billy Mitchellr. The mullet, the tie, the minions=Best antagonist ever! As my one firend said "I can't believe I care about this guy and I also can't believe he is really this big of a ******r"
We all cheered when Steve Wiebe beat his score at the end (we were also drunk).

It's right up there with my other favourite documentary "Project Grizzly", which every Canadian kid worth his salt has seen like a billion times.

Aw man I've heard good things about "Project Grizzly" from my friends in Buffalo. I still haven't seen it, but it's on my gigantic list of movies that I need to see.

I forgot to mention that right after we watched "King Of Kong" we watched "Comedians Of Comedy". Awesome movie if you love stand up and are a huge Nerd. Zach Galafanakis is ****ing hilarious in it.

Heh I saw King of Kong at a small theater after a friend of mine read an article on it saying '[the makers of King of Kong] have unwittingly created the greatest movie villain of all time.' Though exaggerated, I had to agree. That movie was hilarious, and that guy was such a *********. It also helped that at the time I belonged to a similar community (tcg/ccgs).

King of Kong was a great movie. I saw it on G4TV, and they also had the special which showed the players a couple of years later.

If you like this type of documentary, check out Trekkies. Great movie full of Star Trek fans who unwittingly poke fun at themselves.

King of Kong was great!

I saw Trekkies back in the theater. There were 3 or 4 other people in the entire place. After a while they took off, so I was in there all by myself.

One of the best times I've ever had at the movies. I was yelling "You people are loosers!" at the screen, and basking in the irony of the situation!

Didn't the antagonist of this movie flip out about the way he was portrayed?

I remember seeing him on an MTV special about video games and he sure seemed full of himself.

Then I read the stuff about him saying he was portrayed wrong in the movie and I was thinking "Were you portrayed wrong on that MTV special too? Because you seemed to be a jerk."
