Re: Biggest Loser

Had the same thought just now Camille...

...but wanting to be a Half-full dude, at least they're doing something! Not the best, but better than something!

But their form does really suck!

Re: Biggest Loser

So how do these people on the biggest loser not overtrain? That's what I always wondered. They workout like 6 hours everyday.

Dang I missed the first hour and half so I didn't get to see them Row....
But to the Overtrain question...
I know most if not all the contestants and they don't overtrain because it's mostly CARDIO! aka: Walking on the Treadmill....

They train with Bob and Jillian give or take 2-3 times a week...

They burn 10,000+ a week!
It's CRAZY!

Training at the BL is NOTHING like training at a CrossFit gym!
CROSSFIT IS KEY!

Re: Biggest Loser

I'm pretty sure the people that got locked out of the gym got a better work out on the beach and using that TRX then the teams inside doing bicep curls and lat pull downs, lol.

Re: Biggest Loser

There are alot of people at the globo I go to that extend there legs and then move forward before they have pulled the bar to their chest. I don;t get this at all. FIrst time I got on a rower, pulling all the way back seemed like the right thing to do.

I watched an episode or 2 of it recently. Some previous season where half the people got booted off the show to "secretly" train on their own at home before rejoining the game. The funny part was everyone who went home came back with better numbers than the people who were on the show.

Re: Biggest Loser

That TRX thing looked like the only useful exercises they were doing I guess rows too, if they were using better form. Is that TRX kinda like a set of rings?
