Re: The Chronicles of Brady

My legs are jello! Thanks, Scott! I feel awesome! It's good to eat clean and work hard.

Re: The Chronicles of Brady

5-5-5-5-5-5-5 deadlift

240-240-260-260-280-280-290

Last few reps got a little weak. I think I broke form a bit, but nothing hurt

Re: The Chronicles of Brady

Thanks! I wanted 300, but glad I didn't push for it. Back is pretty tired right now. I'm hoping to get it up to 400 1rm this year. I need to really work on my squat, too. I only do about 240 comfortably. I'd like to get it up to 300ish.

Depends on the day... Did okay last week, goofed up over the weekend. Strong today. I'll get it back there.

You'll get there. Keep doing what you're doing and if by November if you don't think you're gonna get there just do 6 weeks of a strength program if its really important to you.

FYI - The first time I pulled 400 I had pulled a 355x5 the week before which was really hard and the 400 was really hard, so that might give you an idea what you'll have to get to on the 5s to have a good shot at it.

Tomorrow I'm hoping to pull a set of 5 at 5lbs over my old 1rm. I can't wait to test my total after this strength madness I'm doing is over with in about a month.

Re: The Chronicles of Brady

Aesome, Greg! I'm actually going to have to get some more weight, too. I think our set is maxed at 370. I've 1RMd 340, I think. At the time, that's all we had. I might be able to get a bit more, now.

Good luck on your pull tomorrow.

Re: The Chronicles of Brady

Back Squat 2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2 with 60 seconds between sets.

225-225-225-230-235-240-245-255-255-255

Wish I would have started higher. I think I could have done 255 the whole time. Glad we had squats today, I needed that. I felt really good about my form, and I feel a bit more confident on my squat.
