Re: Mid-Atlantic Hopper Challenge

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that helped make yesterday possible, it was extremely organized and a lot of fun. I hope everyones easy button bruises heal up on their chest. I loved the second workout of the day , it was a killer. Especially the heavy sdhp, those got really heavy for me fast.

Re: Mid-Atlantic Hopper Challenge

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who was involved in the MAHC yesterday, organizers and competitors. Charlie, Sal, Wes, Mike, Devin and all the other great athletes that came out and competed with us, it was an honor and a pleasure to sweat and suffer through the WOD's with you. Charlie and Sal, I'm going to be working hard on my running between now and the qualifiers/games, so don't expect to have that edge in six months. I know you guys will be busting your *** just as hard to get stronger and faster. To John, Ryan, Rudy, all the coaches and volunteers, and everyone else who was involved in the organization of this event, job well done. I hope to see this event grow and grow. Already, we saw competitors come from as far as New York and Ohio, who knows how big this thing could get in the years to come.

Re: Mid-Atlantic Hopper Challenge

John and Ryan you guys did an awesome job hosting the Hopper. Jason in Albany set the bar pretty high for you, but he didn't have zone friendly food! I just wish I could have stuck around for the beer afterwards. Could you post the results from the WODs since I didn't have time to check?

Re: Mid-Atlantic Hopper Challenge

I really cant express how great a job they did in organizing this. We definitely need to make this an annual event. Anyone who didn't make it out to the Games got a taste of the excitement, and should be motivated for 09. Lots of gutsy performances from the athletes, as well as an all around sense of community.

Re: Mid-Atlantic Hopper Challenge

That was awesome...I have never seen intensity like that first hand. The easy button destroyed me...it feels like I got hit in the chest with a bat. Congrats to all the winners. Here is what the easy button did to my chest:

Re: Mid-Atlantic Hopper Challenge

Thanks to all who who came out. This was so sick I can not put it in words.
I can not express my gratitude. A huge thank you goes to John Alanis who did the leg work on this and really made it go so smoothly. Thanks brother. Awesome!
Over the next couple of days I will be posting pics from the event that I took and we are working on a video as well as compiling photos from others. Check out CF BWI for a group pic that has been place up.

Re: Mid-Atlantic Hopper Challenge

I checked the site but couldn't find what workouts were used for the challenge other than the final burpee/SDHP/DU's workout. Is there anywhere with the workouts and the times/results?
