I was poking around the site today and came across the "Trophy Case" rowing times.

Can anyone tell me when these were last updated?

I've rowed a 7:20.6 and a 3:26 1000 so surely there must be more people who have rowed a sub 7:20 2000m!

Also how many people have made it under 7:00 for the 2000?

One here for a sub-7 2k. Managed 6.51 a few months back and have been too scared to try again. That hurt!!

Cheers, kempie

I have also managed a sub 7 minute 2k on several occasions. 6:47 is my PR but i haven't done this distance in months.

I Pulled 17:41.5 for 5k today for a PR as well.

I have also pulled sub 1:30 500's consistantly.

I should mention the fact that I am 6'4" and weigh 205lbs. Two large factors that can make these feats "easier".

But yeah, good question. I am also interested in seeing how many folks have made the sub 7 minute 2k.

Don, that's my crossfit circus sideshow act, kind of like the bearded lady or the clowns... I suck at just about everything else, as my vital stats would suggest.

Mark Twight's gym jones crew looks like they've been doing a lot of rowing lately and have been turning in some pretty impressive times, including MFT himself.

Mike, I will check with my two friends who I am recruiting for CF; both rowed for BU's crew teams and I was there for their crash B's cheering them on in late 80's and early 90's. But dude, the wife rowed for BU's national champ team and was slated to try out for the sydney team before marrying my idiot friend instead, so her time might not be a very fair measure (by the way, the marriage was a rush job because he was heading off to Gulf I. Punchline, it was over before he got there and she gave up her shot to row for him and the "War that was over in a few days").

Michael, nice time. You must have placed pretty high with a time like that.

Go, Don, go!
