Smart Phones

Hey All,

Thinking about getting one, again. I had an older Blackbery. The phone sucked, the e-mail was ok. But it was big and cluncky.

I'd like to find something at can integrate with ACT! databases, a good cross between a PDA and a phone. MP3 capability is not all that important.

For those of you who have them, what do have?

What do you like/dislike about it?

Would you buy the same one again or recommend it to someone?

There just seems to be so many choices and I don't want to go the cell phone store and have the sales person push the phone he gets the highest spiff on.

For what's it's worth we use AT&T, this may not be an issue though once we move from WI to TX.

Thanks for your input,

BJ

Re: Smart Phones

Hi- my company is switching from Palm Treo's to Blackberrys on Monday. Treos are thicker, smaller overall footprint, require a stylus (our BBs have a tiny trackball- no stylus) and do have a smaller screen, and ours did enough weird stuff we are canning them- and that's about 75 phones. They were very stable for awhile, then began to get wonky- shut themselves off, the memory card is just in the right place to accidentally ejected once a week, etc. I won't know what I think of the BB for awhile. The BB we got is bigger, but thinner, lighter, and has better belt-carry options for me...

Re: Smart Phones

I recently go the new Palm Centro, which has the Palm OS without the bulk of the Treo. I love it!

BTW, I'm orginally from WI and stationed in TX. My Dad used to work in Waukesha! Good luck on the move and go Packers.
