Dear Michael,

Hey guys and gals, how do I or what exercise should I use to substitute back extensions on the track? I believe I will have this problem a lot where it is not possible to perform a certain exercise and will have to modify it because of my surroundings, equipment limitations, etc.

Good mornings aren't much of an exercise with out a bar and some weight for me though. Just use my body weight?

I've subbed good mornings so I could do "Michael" on the track. If you're strict with your form, you'll get benefits from doing them. I've been considering using the bleachers or benches in some way to anchor my feet, however. Be creative!
