To the extent of my recollection, and to the extent of my basic Search, I don't think we've done a thread on Inspirational movies. I think we've done Favorite movies, but not specifically Inspirational.

I'd like to tender a few of my own, and a few kids movies.

Rudy
Lord of the Rings
Iron Will
Both Spider Man movies
Thin Red Line
Saving Private Ryan
Remember the Titans
Europa, Europa

That's all I can think of off the top of my head. I'll probably go "oh, yes", for some other ideas.

For kids, a couple that are off the beaten track that I dearly love:

The Secret of Roan Inish
Kiki's Delivery Service
Whale Rider (One bad word in there)
Lemony Snickets Series of Unfortunate Events
Narnia

I'd be curious what people come up with.

Desert Heat; specifically the scene where Danny Trejo nurses Jean Claude Van Damme's gunshot wound with tequila and an oily foot massage.

I'm usually an emotional wreck after that.

Flags of Pearl Harbor (I'm part Japanese, while I'm proud to be an American, I'm also very proud of being Japanese)
Rocky
Rocky Balboa
Chok Dee (True story about Dida Diafat, French Muay Thai fighter that learns about Muay Thai in Jail, then goes to Thailand and becomes a World Champ a couple times over, great movie)
Four Minutes (about the 1st person to run a 4 minute mile. He runs with a mask that feeds him the amount of oxygen that would make an average person pass out, cool.)

I agree with Sean, before each of my mid-terms or finals weeks I would watch Empire Strikes Back for mojo.

Also Return of the Dragon/Enter the Dragon, whenever I feel like not training, seeing the mastery Bruce had over his body is HIGHLY inspirational/motivating
