I have been taking fish oil supplements but find I'm regularly burping fish taste into my mouth. I don't like it, but have put up with it. My wife on the other hand has decided that it is so distasteful that she isn't taking the supplements anymore.

Does a fish oil supplement exist that doesn't actually taste like fish?

Nordic Naturals - Ultimate Omega!!!!

No fishy taste at all and super concentrated, it's a little pricey but it's the best. I actually found them cheaper at the local, independent supplement store.

From recommendations on this board, I've been taking Carlson's Liquid Fish oil, and will continue doing so. Tastes like lemon vegetable oil, no fish burps! http://www.naturalpharmacy.com/suppl...-carlson-500ml

the way i handle the fishy burps is by eating a bit of my meal, downing the caplets, and then finishing my meal. i dont know if this is a 'real' solution, but it works for me.

Yeah ... are you taking them with food?? Cause when my friend was taking his Omega's he always said he got this fishy taste - he never took them with food. I take the same ones as him and i never get a fishy taste - eat with meals. Try taking them in the middle of your meal like Eric mentioned.

Carlson's or take the pills at night, before bed. You'll then only bother your significant other, in their sleep.

Crap, now I see the problem. I had an issue with the odor too, but I was rubbing it on my body like lotion. You have to swallow them! Better try that.

Coming from the newly married guy, this could be a way to keep her on her side of the bed so that you can get some good sleep.

Thanks for the input. Already tried taking them mid meal, but still burped up the taste regularly. I guess we just swallow lots of air.

I think I'll give Carlson's a try.
