The question is would she have qualified if it wasn't for the no reps? It looks like the answer is no based on how well Fisher did in all of the events. (top 4 women all placed in the top 8 in every event. If she does write an article venting I believe it will come across as being a sore loser (as did Mr. Jenkins' blog post where he made reasonable arguments but it still came across as being mad at how he finished due only to the judges).

I recently rewatched the rope climb event and to me the no rep cost her a full round. She took time to regathering herself before re-attempting and it seems like it was about the amount of time to run down and back. If that's accurate she would have beaten Fisher on that WOD and while that difference alone wouldn't send her to the Games, it would have made the final event an actual race.

I totally understand, guys like Dan Green and Jay Nera (both Raw powerlifters) who at 220 are squatting in the 700-800, deadlift 700-800, and benching high 400 low 500s...they are the same weight as me and pushing these retarded weights.

I thought CF HQ had a rule where they had the right to invite any competitor... The question is are they going to use this right and why they have it.

Is it in case someone drops out before the games due to injury or something or use it for another agenda?

This would work, but it should be only open to those who have reached the podium sometime over the last four years AND had at least a top 40 worldwide finish in the Regionals this year. And, only one male and one female would advance to the games, which would be held the next week (First event that Monday... in which 1/3 of the field would be eliminated). There would be six workouts over two days.

During the SoCal regionals, Castro said absolutely nobody is getting in that didn't qualify. That means no Briggs, no Valenzuela, no Tovar.

Honestly though, hats off to the whole staff, and Castro for the extremely well run event this year. I attended South Central and was about 10 feet away from Dave when he got there on Saturday. Wanted to say hey, and give an honest congratulations on the programming and the event as a whole but too many people were busy taking selfies with him. Much better programming this year than in the past. Very easy to watch.
