Re: 2016 Games Banter...starting off with Murph
Men's side is looking like a blow out but women's is really close! I don't think Wells will stay up there. My guess is TCT, The Dottir's, Briggs and Webb will be in some order in the top 6. Pretty close to what everyone has said all along.

Fraser has been amazing, one horse race which is impressive for this field
Ladies comp is going to be more exciting so far i am disappointed how familiar all of the events have been using various permutations of standard crossfit movements and past events crossfit is getting just so specific, it's become more technically specific than the decathlon |

I was so impressed with Josh Bridges on the squat pyramid event. He is smaller than other athletes, but his training and determination are intense. You could see in his face that he was struggling through that event, but he pushed through and finished it. |

You're right. Bridges is short and solid muscle. Small may not be the right word.

his listed weight is 170-175...at 5'5... Mat Fraser 5'7/190 Scott Panchik 5'9/187 Ben Smith 5'11/195 Alex Anderson 5'10/210 Alex Vigneault 5'11/205 Noah Ohlsen 5'7/188 Lucas Parker 5'8/187 Dan Bailey 5'8/180 so REALLY he's not a small athlete...he's a SHORT athlete. His weight is comparable to his competitors when you take into account height. Its not like he's Spealler who was short and tiny. |
