Top 5 Workout Songs

Forgive me if this is a repost. I searched and I couldn't find a thread like this until you went back to 2007. Interested to hear different people's taste in workout music to maybe get some ideas. I have noticed CFers go for the higher tempo stuff. I personally need to be have an inspirational tone or a "****ed off at my parents" angry tone. My top 5 would be:

5) Godsmack - Cryin like a b*tch
4) 12 Stones - Anthem for the Underdog
3) Eminem, Tupac, Nate Dogg, 50 Cent - Till I Collapse
2) Rocky Theme - (Gonna Fly Now)
1) Main Theme from Rudy

Funny thing is whenever I'm away from the gym it's always country music.

Not really, but if it were 1982 and I had a mullet and a trans-am it would be!

This is a similar thread, but really the discussion of awesome music doesn't get old.

1) I Can't Dance by Genesis for heavy lifts.
2) Let the Bodies Hit the Floor by Drowning Pool - For work Capacity/sprint songs
3) I Disappear by Metallica - Heavy lifting
4) Tarzan's Boy by Baltimora - for long distance runs
5) RPM by Sugar Ray for sprinting and work capacity events

Those are my top 5 workout songs.

You picked Metallica's all-time worst song as your heavy lifting song?

Re: Top 5 Workout Songs

I'll have you know that all three of my lifting PRs had at least one of my heavy lifting songs playing in my iPod. I Disappear was played when I deadlifted 295, a fifty pound increase from two weeks prior.
