As with most things CrossFit, the answer is: it varies.
Check the comments link for each WOD (workout of the day) on the main page. People's posts there almost always give their times for the workout. You'll see that it varies a lot for different folks and for different workouts.
I'd say that most workouts take most people somewhere in the range of 15-35 minutes, but you'll see times (depending on the workout, of course) a lot shorter and a lot longer than that as well. I seem to remember a couple of folks flying through at least one of the workouts in an inhuman 3 minutes and change. And I know I've spent well over 45 minutes struggling through a couple of them myself. :lame:
Some workouts are actually designed with a time bound, where the object is to see how much you can do in a given period of time (often 20 or 30 minutes) or on a given interval (such as Tabata exercises or the workout known as Chelsea).
Short and really intense is the usual order of business, but occasionally, the WOD involves a longer effort, to mix things up--e.g., run 10K.
