Another Newb

Hey Guys,

Just posted a question so thought I should introduce myself.

Ive been a lurker on and off for a year now.
Im a servng Royal Marine, got back from Afghan last Dec. Sent home to have Knee surgery (acl rupture). Had surgery last week so in recovery phase.
When ready Im going to start a Starting Strength cycle to get numbers up.
Then take it from there.

So thank you all and look forward to getting into the thick of it asap

Matt

Matt!

Bummer about the knee! Make sure you get a CrossFit journal subscription, there are a few articles in there about people using CF to rehab injuries. Encouraging and useful. Good luck!

Re: Another Newb

Im already there been a subcriber a lil while now. Thanks for the tip.
Going to keep an eye on your CFSB log to see how it pans out. Im interested in that type of workout ,strength/short metcon, when im sorted and my strength is up. So good luck with it. All the best

Thanks! It's fun so far! I really love the heavy lifts and had a hard time trying to put METCON's back in, which I really need to stick with for my fitness tests and weight control, after a short Starting Strength cycle.
