You know I am at your disposal. I look forward to finally meeting you in person. Earlier is better for me as well.

I hope to see all you NYXFIT peeps there!

NYC Folks,

Take Lani up on her offer. Believe me, you won't regret it. She's an awesome coach and athlete!

Lana 8 AM sounds great. Where in the park should we all meet ? Also, what kind of WOD workout would we do in the park with no equipment? I don't think there's a place to do pullups in the park.

Joseph-
Keith will think of a good meeting spot in the park. There are lots of exercises we can do without equipment. A pullup bar would be great but we can make do without one.

as for pullup bar, i would look to 72 street playground on east side of park. there used to be monkey bars, and hanging bridges, but this was in 1989. dont quote me on it being 72, i remember a playground, and i remember east 70's, then old age creeps in.

Court wing: i went to purchase in my glorious misspent youth. i am going to start trying to train in a crossfit methodology, and live in lower westchester. i wouldnt mind keeping in touch and seeing if we could workout occasionally. i used to be a personal trainer at reebok/sportsclub NY in the city, but had to take some time off to attend to other matters. feel free to email me at : dinosrtrainer@aol

Thanks for that tip. I'm gonna cruise the park this weekend in hopes of finding a spot with some sort of pull up aparatus. I'll report back next week.

Now is when I wish I had a pair of those power rings we could just throw over a tree branch.

Can't wait for next weekend.

How many people are on board for this I'm definently down, other then doing a WOD I want to meet all the NYC Crossfittes, so maybe we can get a CrossFit of the ground in NYC.

Regrettably, I'll have to pass ... my daughter's in a cross-country meet that day. If it's rained out, I'll be there. (I'm reasonably sure the WOD can't be rained out.)
