Hi Lads,
I have been using the CF website for nearly a month now, and I am totally hooked!! I have been in contact with Lani and Mark Beck and as I said to them I really would love to get a CF facility up and running in Salisbury, I really think it would take off in a big way,

Fellas, as far as I know you don't need any qualifications to train people and to be honest with you (as someone has already mentioned) a lot of them aren't worth the paper they're written on. Experience should (and normally does)count for far more.
Not sure about exactly what insurance you'd need, but definately some.
By the way, I'm down the road from Brighton; studying in Chichester part time.

Hi all, I am a personal trainer in London and my understanding is that a qualification is required for insurance purposes. Haven't tried to borrow any money so can't say whether banks would look for qualifications as well. I did the Premier Diploma but am aware of others who have been able to obtain insurance on the basis of a weekend course.

cheers, kempie

Hey Chris! Welcome to the board!

If you're in London mate, you gotta come to Painstorm III first weekend of next month to meet quite a few of the UK guys!? We meet in Sidcup and generally try to kill each other!

Thanks for the welcome Karl. I know that I am up North for the first weekend in July but will definitely make it down for a dose of pain soon. After all misery loves company doesn't it!

Hope you get set up in some old Castle dungeon.

That will be a really cool stop on my 'Puking tour of Crossfit'. (ha)
