UFC 106 ORTIZ vs GRIFFIN 2

I didn't see a thread started on this topic yet. I am pretty excited about this one. Tito Ortiz was always one of my favorite fighters. I espeicially liked all the early drama between him and the Lion's Den fighter's just because I was never a big fan of Ken Shamrock and Guy Metzger. Those guys seemed like jerks. And where are the Lion's Den fighters now?

Thanks for starting it, Brian.

There was plenty of hype for it during the fights last weekend (which was a damn good event in my opinion -- even if the main event was only so-so).

I'll take Griffin by majority opinion. He'll be looking to prove 1) he can beat Tito, and 2) he's got more game than he showed when he got KTFO by Silva... The problem will be that he'll be doing a lot of running so he doesn't take one on the chin... thus the majority decision.

Well I already stated my allegiance to the Huntington Beach Bad boy. I've been a fan and watched him from the very beginning of his MMA career. I just hope his heart is still in it. After all him and his wife have to be multi-millionaires so I hope he has the drive in him to train and fight hard. I think he will be back and badder than ever. Fighting and training are like an addiction. I don't think it matters if you are rich or not. As a matter a fact if I didn't have to go to a day job I would train 10x more.

was never a big Tito fan myself.. until he came to Mosul and spent like 2 hours hanging out, answering questions and giving demos.. seemed like a really nice guy and not the stuck up "bad boy" that he is at fights...

karo is addicted to pain killers. Sux...

I can't pick a winner for this fight. Looking forward to it, though. Leaning towards Tito.
