Re: interval timer

There's this one (WFS). I think when I researched the two, I decided to go with the Gymboss because of some feature difference that I can't recall (clip on the back or volume maybe?).

Re: interval timer

The Gymboss has always worked really well for me, used it for both martial arts and WOD's.

Re: interval timer

My $35 (ebay) Timex Ironman Triathlon watch with 9 interval settings works great for me. The beep is not crazy loud....that's my only complaint. It does the trick though.

Re: interval timer

Seiko S058 is an excellent stopwatch with dual timers (and a backlight). That makes it especially well-suited for timing tabatas, but it can be used to time anything. It counts down the last 3 seconds and beeps for 5 seconds when time is reached. That provides great auditory cues. It is also great, of course, for laps and splits if you are doing more traditional running intervals. And the backlight is invaluable for evening/night track work.

Re: interval timer

How loud are these devices? The GymBoss looks cool, but I'm concerned I wouldn't be able to hear it over my blaring radio - which is blaring so that I can hear it over my all the fans I have aimed at me (18" fan, 24" fan, 36" fan, etc.)
