I have posted on this subject quite some time ago....been away from the board for some time.
I am interested to find out if anyone else has experienced feelins of lethargy and depression when reintroducing starches or other high GI carbs into their diet after previously becoming accustomed to low-carb nutrition? I'm wondering if their is a link here with seratonin accumulation or perhaps something is happening at eicosanoid level (as discussed previously in http://www.crossfit.com/discus/messages/23/2718.html ) |

Yes....it is common. Brain Fog is also pretty common with high carb diets. More DHA is also recommended for increased Brain activity (as the brain is made mostly of fat). DHA=Omega 3
