What do you think of the FDA Nazis?

I guess from the title you know what I think, but what prompted me to start this thread was the video posted by Dr. Mercola about the FDA.

His presentation is very compelling:
1. FDA protects big industries and causes major illnesses.
2. Corporate favoritism is disguised as concern for public health.
3. Growing thirst for power and control over small farmers and consumers.
4. Unholy alliance between politicians, bureaucrats and medical establishment to quash competition from alternative, complementary and integrative medicine.

The most blood-boiling thing to me is how the agencies are persecuting parents for refusing anti-depressants or chemotherapy for their children. I came here from a communist country, but this is truly Orwellian and disgusting. USA is being dragged into fascism.

I think our whole government is ruled no longer by democracy, but by the wealthy (both individuals and corporations). In short, our government is now much higher on the corruption scale than ever before and it is sad.

You know what the real problem is? People are too fat, stupid and lazy. Instead of grabbing a piece of fruit, they'll grab a bag of potato chips. Then they wonder why they are fat and unhealthy. Instead of exercising and eating properly, they go and spend all kinds of money on miracle pills.
