Running shoes!
I am looking for anyone's opinions on running shoes for distance running.... I have been running for a few years and have not yet found a pair that I have really loved. I have had the most success with Adizero Mana's, but I can't say that they were my favourite. After a half marathon last year (resulting in a painful IT band strain!), someone suggested Sauconys to me, as they were supposed to offer more stability. I ran a half marathon in them this year but I don't think I would do it again as they were heavier than I would have liked. Are there any other runners out there with shoes you swear by? And good/bad experiences with certain shoes? I should mention that the IT band pain is no more, and I do have orthotics for running now so stability isn't really a huge issue. Also, I rarely experience other pains like shin splints. Hope somebody out there has some recommendations! Thanks

Re: Running shoes!
I run half marathons, 10ks, and 5ks in VFFs. I've whore them for 3 months so far and no problems.

half marathons, 10ks, 5ks, all WODs and Oly Lifts, I never wear plain shoes anymore except for my combat boots. I workout twice a day taking rest days every 4th day. I also play some sports in them, volleyball, soccer, basketball.
anything else? Oh yes, 5ks with a 20lb vest on... |

Re: Running shoes!
to get back on topic...my saucony's are really heavy.
If I had it to do again I would go lighter. |

Re: Running shoes!
Personally I LOVE my Mizuno's (3 pairs). I have tried TONS of shoes with my job and don't stand to make ANY money from push towards them.
