I am a former U.S. Army Paratrooper who has the utmost respect for the Marine Corps!

Teuffelhunden-Germans called us this from how we fought in the battle of Belleuwood. It means DEVIL DOGS. Happy 231 years Leathernecks! YUUUUUUUUT!

As a proud mother of a pre-Marine, here is the Marine Military Academy Drill Team in front of the orginal cast for the Iwo Jima Memorial in Harlingen, Texas during the Marine Birthday Parade last weekend. Not an easy school to attend by any means, but we're extremely proud of him. Our son, Alex (15), is second from the left on bended knee. http://www.crossfit.com/discus/messages/3499/32775.jpg
