I've been getting up to speed on the Zone Diet. I read the summary, FAQ's, etc on both DrSears.com and ZoneDiet.com...

One question I'd love clarified, as I can't seem to find the info too quickly - what is a zone block? I mean, he describes and makes reference to 1 block of protein or carb...sorry if this was obvious and I missed it. I'm not yet in the zone and my focus could be off. :-)

I'm week two into the zone. I want some guidance as to the post workout meal. I'm at 5 blocks per meal, but next week I'm moving to 4 blocks. My carbs have been consisting of 1 apple, 1/2 orange, 1/4 cup of salsa in my egg whites, and about 2 cups of brocolli. I'm concerned with GI of the fruit. Should I be eating more HGI fruits or less?
