Red face Conquered the 15' rope climb!

I am afraid of heights, so started climbing a rope with knots to 15'. So, today I was sitting staring at regular rope, post having surgery a week and a half ago. I thought, screw it, I am going to climb that rope. I had tried the footlock in the past, but struggled putting all together. Did it today! After 6 climbs to 12', I just forgot about height and did it! So excited! This week it's front squat, rope climb WOD for me! 10, 9, 8 and so on.

Sweet. Kudos for conquering that fear.

I've actually had to deal with kids climbing 1/2 or 2/3rds of the way up a rope or cargo net and getting too scared to come down. No fun, at all.

Congrats Diane, it is tricky up there but now you got it, I hope on your workouts it will get easier.

Nice!

I've seen quite a few people get their first 15' rope climb recently, probably evokes a reaction second only to first muscle-up

Thanks again! I haven't achieved the muscle up yet. I have drills I am working on, but I can only imagine the sense of accomplishment! I did feel that "high" , everyone in the gym cheered. It was awesome!
