Our wrestling team has been on CF for about a year now. We started following the WODs strictly in August. This season we brought back 0 (zero) state qualifiers and many thought the outlook was bleak for the team.
Last weekend Vista won the Vegas 100 tournament with only 12 wrestlers in the lineup (normally, all 14 weights score). While not one of the 10 toughest tournaments in the country, several of the nations top schools were there. Many of the matches won were because of the conditioning of our athletes.
We attribute a great deal of our success to the superior training Crossfit provides. We'll be competing at the Reno Tournament of Champions (probably the second toughest tournament in the country) next week and hope to turn some heads. The end of our season is in March and we expect to improve even more by then. Thanks to the entire Crossfit community.

Congratulations and good luck. Keep us posted, because my neighbor is a wrestling couch here in Japan and I think CF would be great for his team and if I have some stats to back that I might be able to get CF into the school system over here.

Good job with the kids! Good to see real results using real training! How many of those guys want to compete with us in March? I bet they'll be tough to beat no matter what sport they try!
